Movie July 28 in Bellville Bandstand

The movie “Late Night” will be shown July 28 at 9 p.m. at the Bellville Bandstand.

The film is being sponsored by Impact Worship Center. Admission is free. There will be free drinks, hotdogs, popcorn and snowcones. People are advised to bring a lawn chair or blankets.

Byrd speaker at All Souls

The Rev. Sam Byrd will be the speaker Sunday at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church at 10:30 a.m. His topic will be “Deeds not Creeds.” It is about discipleship.

Ice cream social and cruise-in Aug. 5

The 13th annual “Ice Cream Social and Cruise-In” will be hosted by the Little Washington Congregational Church on Aug. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Cruise-In participants share information about their restored cars, motorcycles and farm equipment. To register a vehicle you would like to display, contact John Miu at 419-589-3724. Please arrive by 3 p.m. on Aug. 5.

An assortment of homemade food items will be available. Featured performances include the Mid Ohio Community Band and the easy listening music of John Henry and Keith Metcalf.

Little Washington Congregational Church is located at the corner of Washington South and East Hanley Roads.

North Liberty ice cream social

There will be an ice cream social to welcome Pastor Ruth Douglas at North Liberty United Methodist Church Aug. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The church is at 20961 North Liberty Rd. in Butler.

Douglas began her career in 2014 at Jelloway United Methodist Church, after serving as lay leader at Berlin United Methodist Church for 10 years.

She and her husband Mark have seven children, and have been active on service committee projects.
