CLEAR FORK VALLEY — Voters in Butler and Bellville still have a few days to make up their minds on upcoming issues that will be on the ballot Nov. 7.
A major issue that will potentially give more money to the Bellville Police Department is on the ballot. Voters are being asked to approve a three mill levy to supplement police funds.
There is competition in races for the Clear Fork Valley School District Board of Education. Four people are running for three seats. They are incumbents James Klenk and Amy Weekley and challengers Kyle Beveridge and Jennifer Stallard.
In Bellville three candidates are running for one council seat. Incumbent Jason Guilliams is running for re-election, and other candidates are Stephen B. Edwards and Joshua Epperson.
Mayor Teri Brenkus is on the ballot. She has to run for re-election because she took the office for an unexpired term ending Dec. 31.
In Butler there are four candidates for four council seats. They are Lonnie Browne, Trent Dawson, Dale Horn and Joe Stallard.
