Clear Fork students to attend leadership conference

Bryce Lyon and Tabitha Hamilton both sophomores at Clear Fork High School were nominated to attend the “Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership” (HOBY) conference in June.

Bryce is the son of Jim and Misty (Rebman) Lyon, both graduates of Clear Fork High School. Tabitha Hamilton is the daughter of Troy and Jennifer (Roberts) Hamilton, both graduates of Clear Fork High School.

A group of students were nominated by their teachers and Bryce and Tabi were the two selected to go on to the conference.

Students were nominated based on their leadership abilities, Grade pint average and other positive characteristics.

“HOBY’s flagship program, the State Leadership Seminar (LS) is designed to help high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community.

Students explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in their community.”

Bryce and Tabi will be attending the conference June 9-12 at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
