Colts drop regular season finale, 75-54 to Lexington

LEXINGTON — Clear Fork’s final boys basketball game as a member of the Ohio Cardinal Conference ended the same way many of the Colts’ games did this year, with a loss.

Lexington picked up a 75-54 victory on Friday night at Lexington High School.

The Colts’ ended their regular season at 5-16, 2-12 in the OCC.

On Wednesday, Clear Fork plays Galion, at Shelby High School, in a sectional tournament semifinal. Galion lost to Crestline on Friday to drop to 3-19 on the year. The game starts at 7 p.m.

Lexington led 35-22 at the end of the first half and put the game away with an 11-4 run at the end of the third quarter.

Chance Barnett scored 20 points to pace the Colts. Brennan South finished with 11.

The Colts were paced by Cade Stover, who scored 22 points.
