BELLVILLE, BUTLER — Two hearings will be held in March for farmers and landowners wanting to find out more about rules and regulations on wetland and erodible land procedures.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will have a meeting March 15 at 1495 Longview Ave., Mansfield, at 10 a.m.
The other meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. at 1763 St. Rt. 60, Ashland on March 15.
The meeting will cover topics including clearing trees, tiling, how pipeline affects you, receipt of certified mail and how it affects you.
Time has been reserved for questions and answers.
Jon Reedstrom, resource soil scientist, Area 2 Ohio, will be the main speaker. The session is being hosted by Jason Ruhl, district conservationist for Richland/Ashland counties.
People are asked to RSVP if they wish to receive materials that will be distributed.
