BELLVILLE — Clear Fork’s girls softball team rallied from a 7-3 fifth-inning deficit to beat Plymouth on Thursday, 8-7.
The Lady Colts are 10-1 with their latest win. They cut the deficit to 7-4 in the bottom of the fifth then scored four runs in the sixth inning to take a lead they wouldn’t lose.
Haylie Miller belted another home run, chipped in a single and knocked in three runs to lead Clear Fork at the plate.
Darian Gottfried also had a home, and a single, and had one RBI. She also picked up the pitching win in relief of McKenzie Baker, who went the first four innings.
On offense, Macy Wade had a double and Baker and Whitney Snavely added singles.
The Colts had three errors, vs. four fielding miscues for Plymouth.
