Thank you from Salvation Army

Thank you from Salvation Army

Dear People of the Clear Fork Valley,

We want to thank everyone who helped make the Red Kettle Campaign of The Salvation Army Clear Fork Unit (SACFU) such a success again this year.

We can’t possibly mention everyone who helped ring the bell, but you were and are very important to the mission of the Clear Fork Unit of the Salvation Army. From the churches of the valley to the businesses whose staffs volunteered to ring; from the businesses who allowed us to place a small kettle in their establishment, to all the individuals who volunteered their time to “man the kettle” and to hundreds of people who put money in: we can’t thank you enough.

We do need to especially thank Jason Potes and his staff at Stoodt’s Market for once again allowing us to have the main kettle at their store. Thanks to you and the generous spirit of the people of the Clear Fork valley, we were blessed with over $6,200. The funds will go a long way in helping our friends and neighbors in the valley who are in need.

We could not exist and function without the support of the caring individuals, groups, businesses and congregations of the Clear Fork valley. We never cease to marvel at the generosity of the people of the valley.

Please help spread the news that there is a Salvation Army serving the Clear Fork valley. We can provide assistance with utility bills, prescription costs (through Hursh Bellville) and gas cards. Anyone with questions or seeking assistance can call 419-308-1927.

May the Lord bless and keep you all in health, high spirits and love. Generous people like you are what make the world a better place to live and work.

Peace and blessings,

Mike Bing

President, SACFU
