Clear Fork picked up another softball win, this time by a 5-4 margin over league opponent Wooster in extra innings on Wednesday.

The Colts trailed 1-0 after the first inning, but scored three in the bottom of the third to take the lead. Wooster scored in both the fourth and fifth frames to tie the score, but a run by Clear Fork in the bottom of the fifth gave them the lead again.

Once again, Wooster would tie the game in the seventh, but Clear Fork was able to push one across in the bottom of the eighth to finish the game on top.

Darian Gottfried went the distance for the Colts. She struck out eight and walked two, while giving up nine hits. The team also got nine hits offensively, with Taylor Cook collecting three singles and both Caitlynn Hilverding and Zara Thomas adding two each.
