Western Reserve ends Colts’ season on buzzer-beater

NORWALK — Clear Fork’s late-season hot streak ended Thursday evening at Norwalk High School in a Division III semifinal vs. Western Reserve.

Western Reserve’s Colton Buzzer put in a buzzer-beating layup in the final seconds to lift Western Reserve to a 36-34 victory. The Roughriders advance to play Edison on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the district championship game.

The Colts end the year with just seven victories, but will lose only two players to graduation this season, Justice Rebman and Chase Endicott.

Rebman led the Colts with vs. Western Reserve with 10 points, while Jared Schaefer had eight. Leading score Chance Barnett was held to just seven points.
