GALION — The weather cooperated just enough for the Clear Fork Colts tennis team to travel to Heise Park to meet up with the Galion Tigers on Monday afternoon.
Clear Fork returned home with a 3-2 victory.
Noah Brown, playing first singles for the Colts, breezed his way to a straight-set win over Galion’s Tanner Amos; 6-0, 6-0 to gain the first point for the team.
At second singles, Brandyn Cole defeated Lucas Conner after dropping the first match; 4-6, 6-0, 6-0.
The third and final point of the afternoon for Clear Fork came at third singles. Diego Cerron found himself in a bit of a dual with the Tigers’ Landon Rose. But Cerron was able to come away with another point for the Colts, defeating Rose; 7-6 (6-3 tiebreaker), 6-2.
