GALION — Clear Fork upped its record to seven in a row with a 10-0 win over Galion on Monday in Galion.
With the win, the Colts improve to 9-2-0 overall and 3-0 on the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference.
Clear Fork is off until Thursday, when it takes on Ontario, in Ontario. On Monday, the Lady Colts travel to Marysville.
On Monday, Kaylin Helinski and Lauren Callen tallied two goals each to lead Clear Fork to victory. Emily Hart, MacKenzie Klenk, Alli Studenmund, Macy Wade, Aly Wend and Brianne Worner added a goal each.
Callen and Wend also had two assists, with Morgan Galco, Helinski, Studenmund and Wade adding one assist each. The defense didn’t allow a shot on goal with Torri Curry and Jordan Beahr manning the goal for a half each.
The win ups Clear Fork’s record to 9-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the MOAC. The Lady Colts go on the road for their next two game traveling to Marysville on Thursday, Sept. 21 and Ontario on Sept. 25.
Clear Fork 8, Mapleton 0
BELLVILLE — Last week, Clear Fork ran it’s win streat to six straight with an 8-0 win over Mapleton on a soggy Wednesday night at the Corral.
The Lady Colts jumped on the Mounties early, scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and led 5-0 at halftime.
Clear Fork added three more in the second half to secure the win. Kaylin Helinski led the way with three goals, while Morgan Galco and MacKenzie Klenk had two goals each. Emily Hart rounded out the scoring with one goal.
Assists were provided by Maleah Garrabrant and Klenk, with two apiece, and one from Lauren Callen, Allie Studenmund, Macy Wade and Helinski.
The defense secured the shutout and only allowed one shot on goal, that Jordan Beahr saved.
