Avita ground breaking Monday at 10 a.m.

CLEAR FORK VALLEY — The ground breaking ceremony for the new Avita Health facility will be Monday at 10 a.m.

Officials from the village of Bellville and Avita will be participating in the ceremony.

Mayor Teri Brenkus and some county officials also will be attending.

The plan is to have the building, which will house doctors’ offices and related facilities, finished by late summer or early fall of 2018, said Kim Winkle, vice president of corporate relations and operations support for Avita.

The group operates hospitals in Bucyrus, Galion and Ontario.

Jeroma Morasko, CEO of Avita, board members, the architect and general contractor, plus representativs of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) have been invited.
