Restaurants, travel stop to open Dec. 14

CLEAR FORK VALLEY — Two food establishments — Taco Bell and Subway — will be the landmark institutions at the new Love’s Real Estate travel stop and store outside Bellville.

There is going to be a “soft” opening of operations at the facility, at the intersection of I-71 and State Route 97, Dec. 14.

Kealey Dorian, of Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc., said the exact opening time is not definite because the restaurants may open a little later than the store.

There is going to be a Love’s Truck Tire Center at the site, but that will open a few weeks later, Dorian said.

Construction at the site has been ongoing for several months. The area, just off I-71, occupies a large space which is complete with a large area for truck parking.

Several types of development have been occurring in that area. Avita health care is building an office complex, which will have room for doctors and associated services.

Two motels are being rehabilitated. Both of these are on the east side of the I-71 and State Route 97 intersection. One of the motels will be a Days’ Inn and the other, a Motel 6.
