The following is an updated list of ordinances/resolutions passed by Bellville Village Council through their most recent meeting:

A Resolution 13-2015 authorizing a loan for the purchase of a 2015 Ford Taurus police cruiser, and declaring an emergency.

An Ordinance 14-2015 to rezone 24 Bell Street (“Pumpkin Hollow”) from Industrial (I) to General Business (B2).

A Resolution 15-2015 authorizing the Mayor or the Village Administrator to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Ohio Water Development Authority State Capital Improvement Program for a Waste Water Treatment Plant Phase IIB and Greenbriar Lift Station Project and for the Mayor or the Village Administrator to execute contracts as required.

A Resolution 16-2015 authorizing the Mayor of the Village of Bellville, Ohio to enter into a contract with Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. for the SDox Pure Oxygen Feed System Addition Phase II.B and Greenbriar Pump Station Improvements – Construction and Observation.

A Resolution 17-2015 declaring that it is necessary to levy the replacement of a tax levy in order to provide for general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in the Village of Bellville and requesting that the Richland County Auditor certify to council certain information pursuant to R.C. § 5705.03(B) and 5705.19(G).

A Resolution to proceed to replace a tax in excess of the ten mill limitation by replacing an existing tax of four (4.0) mills for purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in the Village of Bellville, and declaring an emergency. As a result of this resolution, the question will be on the November ballot.

A Resolution 19-2015 authorizing the Mayor or the Village Administrator to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund Program for a Waste

Water Treatment Plant Phase IIB and Greenbriar Lift Station Project and for the Mayor or the Village Administrator to execute contracts as required.

An Ordinance 20-2015 to establish compensation levels for Council to $125 per month, starting with terms beginning on or after January 1, 2016.

An Ordinance 21-2015 to approve the anticipated revenue budget for 2016.

A Resolution 22-2015 to conditionally waive the Village’s right of first refusal for the property owned by Mid Ohio Resources, Inc. located in unincorporated land outside the village limits on certain conditions being met by prospective purchasers.
