Butler schedules May 12 clean-up day

BUTLER — The village has scheduled a clean up day for May 12.

This event will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Residents who wish to dump items must have an identification to show they are a resident. Village officials said dumpsters are only for village and township residents.

The village was accepting bids for street repaving which has been proposed by village administrator Rick Freeman.

Bids were to be opened Thursday.

Council approved a pay increase for Police Chief Rodney Fry on a retroactive basis. The pay amount was made effective as of March 23 of this year.
