Clear Fork graduate designs new playing card

CLEAR FORK VALLEY — A recent Clear Fork High School graduate, from her company named Marcd in Columbus, is about to release an international Pocket Gallery disguised as a traditional deck of playing cards.

The MarcDeck is a “unique deck” of playing cards which has been designed through a collaboration of artists, designers, illustrators and innovators from around the world, said Maria Marzarotto, of Marcd.

Marzarotto, a 2015 graduate from Clear Fork, said she runs a “ hyper-multidisciplinary design studio” with a partner.

The MarcDeck will include 52 illustrated custom playing cards, two jokers, and an info card that lists the contributing artists, their respective card, and means of contact. Currently, all designs and artist information are available on a site link. People can also pre-order the deck from this site. Marcd plans on releasing a limited amount of 2,500 decks.

The decks will launch sometime in late summer or early fall. If small businesses or boutiques are interested in carrying the deck, they can reach us via email atmarcdproducts@gmail.com or call via 614-407-6040. To learn more about Marcd, people can visit our site https://marcd.co.

The cards are $14 if pre-ordered, or $18 when released.
