Retired teachers group to meet June 11

MANSFIELD — The Richland County Retired Teachers Association will hold their next luncheon at noon on June 11, at the Gorman Nature Center. Old Carolina Barbecue will cater the event, and Janet Ellsworth will be speaking on “Nature Adventures” which provide opportunities to work with 4th and 5th grade students. Any retired or active teacher is welcome to attend and spouses and friends are always welcome. Blood drive June 12

Village-wide garage sales June 14-16

BELLVILLE — Village wide garage sales will be held June 14 through 16.

Clear Fork High School class of 1978 reunion

BELLVILLE — There will be a reunion of the Clear Fork High School class of 1978 June 23 at Deer Ridge Golf Club. The cost will be $25 for one person, and $40 for a couple.

There will be a 6 p.m. social hour and dinner will be at 7 p.m. There is also a golf option. People may play 18 holes. The cost for that is $39 with cart. For nine holes the cost, with cart, is $22. To RSVP or for more information, call Beth Snyder Hardcastle at 850-293-2520.

School board financial reports may be viewed

BELLVILLE — The Clear Fork Valley Board of Education has completed the Fiscal Year 2017 Financial Statements according to generally accepted accounting principals.

These reports are available for public viewing at the Board of Education Office located at 92 Hines Avenue, Bellville, Ohio, 44813 during the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. on school days.

Volunteers are needed to take down the US flags that was put on the Veterans graves for Memorial Day at the Mansfield Cemetery starting NO earlier than 9:00 am on Sat. JUNE 2.

NOTICE: change in location at cemetery. Meet at the Flagpole at the Veterans Honor Grounds in the BACK of the cemetery and Veterans will be there to give instructions on removing the flags.

All Scouting groups and other groups are welcome to help with this important project to help us all remember our Veterans and what they have done for us. This project is sponsored by The Mansfield Community Memorial and Patriotic Association.
