BELLVILLE — On Friday, July 6, the office of The Bellville Star was officially closed by Aim Media. The publication will remain as it has been each Thursday.

With this change, the newspaper has donated its bound-volume newspapers dating back to 1978 to the Bellville-Jefferson Township Historical Society, along with a few wall hangings and photos that were in our files.

If you or someone you know had photos at the Bellville Star office, please contact the Bellville-Jefferson Township Historical Society.

Now, we are offering the remaining office furniture to anyone who can use it. We have desks, chairs, shelves and other miscellaneous items that we are offering at no cost.

There will be someone at the Bellville Star office on Tuesday, July 24, Wednesday, July 25 and Thursday, July 26 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. for anyone interested to view and take what they like, first come, first served.

All items must be removed by 3 p.m. Thursday, July 26.
