August 27

The Der Dutchman Restaurant, located at 720 S.R. 97 W, in Bellville will be hosting a Classic Car and Truck Cruise-In the last Thursday of every month continuing through October.

The events run from 5- 8 p.m., and feature oldies music, door prizes and mini golf. For more information to the Der Dutchman’s monthly events, here are some other area car shows:

August 29

The Lucas Community Center Car and Truck Show will run from 12-5 p.m. and is located at 252 West Main Street in Lucas. The event is complete with dash plaques, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, music and food. Contact Jim 419-565-9666 or Dave 419-571-1264 for more information.

September 7

The American Legion Labor Day Car Show will take place Legion Park in Bellville from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The car show will feature awards, dash plaques, door prizes, entertainment, food and a 50/50 drawing. For more information contact Larry at 419-545-1882.
