MANSFIELD — Community Health Screenings are free health assessments from Richland Public Health nurses for all ages and all Richland County residentse. Community Health Screenings include the following: free blood pressure screening, free hemoglobin screening free hematocrit screening; free weight check and free blood sugar screening (requires a 3-hour fast). Cholesterol screenings also are available for a $10 charge (cash or check only). These require a 9- t0 12-hour

Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Springfield Township Fire Station, 3700 Park Ave. West, Ontario 9-11 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 20 at Peoples Community Senior Center 597 Park Ave. East, Mansfield 1:30-3 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug.. 22 at YWC Senior Center, 271 Hedges St., Mansfield 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Neighborhood immunization clinics
Infants, children and adults can get the shots they need at our Neighborhood Immunization Clinics staffed by public health nurses from Richland Public Health. Children must be accompanied by an adult/guardian and need an up-to-date shot record and insurance card at time of service. Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care, Anthem and Medical Mutual cards are accepted. No child is denied vaccines due to inability to pay (donations are accepted). Cost of most children’s vaccines is $28 and then $15 for each additional dose. Pricing for adult vaccine varies.

- Wednesday, Aug. 8 Shelby City Hall (with the City of Shelby Health Department) from 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m.;
- Wednesday, Aug, 15 Shiloh Village Hall, 9:30 a.m. to noon; and Plymouth Public Library from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 22 Springfield Township Fire Station, 10 a.m. to noon and New Community Temple Church in Mansfield, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
