PERRYSVILLE — The annual Greentown Gathering, celebrating an encampment of the Delaware Indians from 1782-1812, is this weekend. The gathering is held on the original Greentown site, 2488 State Route 39, 3.5 miles north of Perrysville.
Sponsored by the Greentown Preservation Association, the site will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It costs $5 per vehicle. There will be living history encampment, displays, children’s crafts, delaware foot ball game, live flintlock and traditional archery demonstrations.
