Reflections Hair Design honors former owner with donation to hospice

ASHLAND — Reflections Hair Design recently presented a check for $1,999 to Hospice of North Central Ohio. The donation was the proceeds of recent golf outings held to celebrate the life of the salon’s former owner Linda Horning.

The annual Linda Horning Memorial Golf Outing began in 2004 as a team building event for the business.

“This fundraiser is our way of giving back to Hospice of North Central Ohio as the organization gave us so much care, love and support during our time of need. Our family was blessed to receive their services and we appreciate all they did for us as we went through a difficult time,” said Amy Forrest, owner of the salon.

HNCO’s Chief Development Officer Ralph Tomassi stated, “We are thankful for people like Amy. She is so appreciative of the passionate care that we provided to her mother-in-law 16 years ago that she continues to be inspired to give back through these outings. What a wonderful gesture!”

Reflections Hair Design is located at 1215 Park Avenue West in Mansfield.
