June 18

A suspect was transported to the Richland County Jail and issued a summons for Making a False Report to Police and a summons for Criminal Damaging after Bellville officers were dispatched to the Economy Inn for a reported of a burglary.

June 19

A Bellville officer was dispatched to the Comfort Inn regarding a suspicious package the hotel had recieved. The officer, suspecting the package contained drugs, contacted METRICH requesting a K-9 unit.

June 20

A Bellville man was issued a citation for a loud exhaust and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated after an officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle during a routine car stop. The officer then conducted field sobriety tests, which the subject failed.

A Bellville officer on routine patrol on Mill Road conducted a car stop. The driver stated her license was suspended and was issued a citation for driving under suspension and expired plates.

A driver on the Interstate 71 North enterance ramp was issued a citation for a red light violation. A summons was issued to the passenger in the vehicle for an open container.

A Bellville officer was dispatched to a local residence regarding a report concerning a theft credit card.
