Grave-marking ceremony Saturday

BELLVILLE — Jared Mansfield Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will be having a grave marking dedication ceremony on Saturday, March 9 at 4 p.m. The chapter will be honoring the Chapter’s Organizing Regent, Agnes Long Creveling (Mrs. Harmon Lincoln Creveling) by placing a DAR insignia on her monument at the Shenandoah Cemetery, on State Route 13 north. The chapter was founded 100 years ago on March 8, 1919.

Clear Fork kindergarten sign-up in April

BELLVILLE — Kindergarten registration for Clear Fork Schools is Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10 from at Clear Fork Alliance Church, on Ohio 97, across the street from the high school. New kindergartners must be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 1, 2019.

Preregistration is required and forms are available and Bellville and Butler elementary schools, at the post office or at the library. These items — copies are OK — are required: Child’s birth certificate; Social Security card or number; immunization records; residency verification and custody papers (if applicable)
