Aftr knocking off Loundonville 5-2 in the first round of the conference tournament, the Clear Fork Girls Soccer team is heading to the OCC finals.
The team earned a hard fought 1-0 victory over the visiting Ashland Arrows in the tournament semi-finals on Monday night.
The score was knotted 0-0 at the midway poin of the contest. Breaking the tie for the Lady Colts was sophomore Macy Wade who netted the game’s only score during the second half of play.
Freshman Kaylee Krausman’s play in front of the net kept the team’s tournament hopes alive as she recorded 11 saves on the evening.
The victory moves the Colts to 12-2 on the season and keeps their OCC unbeaten streak alive, as they move to 8-0 in the conference.
Clear Fork is slated to take on the winner of Wooster vs. Madison at home on Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
