Bellville woman pleads guilty to meth making, other awaits trial

Rebecca Booz, 45, of Bellville was sentenced to one to four years in prison for her role in a meth-making operation in which she was arrested for last April.

She originally pled not guilty but changed to a guilty plea for her July 8 trial on seven counts that stemmed from her arrest last spring.

Booz pled guilty to illegally manufacturing drugs, a first-degree felony; illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacturing drugs, a third-degree felony; possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and child endangering a fifth-degree felony.

The other Bellville woman arrested in the operation, Heather Mayer, is scheduled to conclude her pre-trail hearing on July 29. She is then set to stand trial at the Richland County Common Pleas Court September 14.
