Travis Bonham, the Mount Vernon man accused of the double homicide of his girlfriend Jaime Barber and his mother Sandra Stelk, will spend at a minimum 42 years behind bars.
Bonham entered pleas to two aggravated murder charges on Monday in Knox County Common Pleas Court. He was sentenced to life in prison and will not be elgible for parole for 42 years.
Bonham, 31, reportedly told police he shot his girlfriend, 23-year-old Jaime Barber, and his mother, 50-year-old Sandra Stelk, at his mother’s area home in September.
Bonham was charged with two counts of aggravated murder, as well as charges of grand theft, tampering with evidence and falsification.
