Representative Mark Romanchuck of behalf of the members of the House of Representatives of the 131st General Assembly of Ohio, gave special recognition to Joan Hamilton Wyatt for her exemplary service as the 2014-2015 commander of the Richland Count Joint Veterans Council.

The Proclamation Wyatt received reads as follows: Joan Hamilton Wyatt demonstrated unwavering dedication to upholding the noteworthy ideals of Richland County Joint Veterans Council. She was the first woman to hold the post of commander, and established herself as an outstanding member through her loyal service and attendance, talents and leadership ability.

A past regent of the Jared Mansfield Chapter, daughters of the American Revolution, she has given willingly of her time, energy and abilities and has worked tirelessly to better the world around her and her generous contributions has earned her the respect and esteem of the entire community. She are truly deserving of high praise for the personal commitment she has made in many significant endeavors. Thus with sincere please, we commend her on her exceptional service and salute her as one of Ohio’s finest citizens.
