Three Butler residents who were charged in connection with a number of burglaries across the Bellville, Mansfield and Lucas areas are awaiting sentencing in the Richland County Common Pleas Court.
Cody Alexander Snavely, 19, Curtis Lee Henke, 23 and Courtney L. Sauder, 24 were charged with receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony, earlier this summer after being arrested by the Major Crimes Unit of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement officials recovered more than $7,500 in stolen property, which included firearms, jewelry, computers, a television and other electronics in the trio’s possession at 66 Cleveland Street in Butler.
Henke and Sauder were each additionally charged with possession of heroin; a fifth-degree felony, and having weapons while under disability; a third-degree felony.
Sauder entered a guilty plea late last week to the charges against her, and is now awaiting sentencing on two counts of receiving stolen property and possession of heroin. She is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 17.
Henke and Snavely are awaiting the conclusion of their ongoing trials. Henke faces all of the charges filed against him, while Snavely faces one count of receiving stolen property.
