Dunkin Donuts plans approved

CLEAR FORK VALLEY — Plans for a new Dunkin Donuts in the area were given final approval Monday night at a special meeting of the Bellville Planning Commission.

The Dunkin Donuts facility will be on State Route 97 by I-71 at the Mickey Mart.

Kris Dennison, who works with Tusing Builders, said the goal is to have an opening in September.

Another representative of Tusing appearing before the commission about one month ago to present preliminary plans.

Village administrator Larry Weirich said all items had been reviewed by Brian McCartney, a commission member and engineer with K. E. McCartney and Associates, Inc., engineers. Signage plans and variances have been approved and the group has paid impact fees to the village for the project, he said.

Commission member Joann Palmer, also a village council member, said the Dunkin Donuts store will be “way too convenient” for most.
