Best of the best: Colts well represented on all-district, all MOAC squads


BELLVILLE — Clear Fork High School’s Kaylin Helinski, Kaylee Krausman and Seth Stoner have been named to the first-team of the North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Division II All-District all-stars.

Helinski, a senior for the Lady Colts, is one of the top scorers in the area. Krausman is one of the area’s top goal keepers. They were joined on the first team by Madison’s Taylor Huff, Julie Litt, Kalie Blaising and Kari Eckenwiler; Ontario’s Bria Meisee and Alaina Reed; Lexington’s Gabby Stover and Lacee Bethea; Norwalk’s Coley Branum; Oak Harbor’s Hannah Sculte and Marna Winterfield; Perkins’ Allie Schuster; Fireland’s Lexi McCrary; Vermilion’s Mikayla Lindo and Mansfield Senior’s Reign Morales.

The Lady Colts’ Emily Hart, MacKenzie Thorne and Alli Studenmund were named to the second team. Clear Fork’s Bianca Hoffer and MacKenzie Klenk were named to the Division II honorable mention squad.

Clear Fork sophomore Seth Stoner, has been named to the Division II first-team all-district squad. He was joined on the first team by Vermilion’s Logan Penton, Ryan Bodeker and Riley Baxter; Sandusky’s Max Corso; Ontario’s Andrew Cacchio and Riley Lamport; Edison’s Ian Janssen; Huron’s Luke Woo and Drew Mamere; Brookside’s Connor Baughman; Perkins’ Mason Brightman; Clyde’s Brock Newsome; Lexington’s William Schaefer, Ryan Parker and Sam Maurer; and Norwalk’s Cesar Gonzales.

The Colts’ Chase Wortman was named to the second team and his Clear Fork teammates Isaac Kistler and Will King were named to the honorable mention squad.

All-MOAC honors announced

The post-season honors continued for Clear Fork recently as the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference anamed its all-league squads.

Stoner was named to the boys first-team, along with Aaron Pinrstill from Harding, Aspen Schneller from Buckeye Valley; Gage Williams and Evan Roark from Pleasant, Devin McCarthy from Galion, Michael Hass and Sergei Littleton from River Valley and Andrew Cacchi0, Matt Weaver, Brennan Blaisin and Riley Lamport from Ontario.

The Colts’ Austin Strong and Chase Wortman were named to the second-team all-MOAC squad and Wyatt Strong is on the honorable mention team.

Three members of the Clear Fork team were named to the first-team all-conference girls squad: Helinski, Krausman and Hart. They are joined on the first team by Ontario’s Bria Meisse, Alaina Reed and Sydney Large, Buckeye Valley’s Hannah Cowan, Daelynn Rosser and Cami Crawford; Harding’s Olivia Moodley, River Valley’s Kenzinton Hage and Pleasant’s Kelsey Stiverson.

The Lady Colts’ Mackenzie Thorne and Alli Studenmund were named to the second team and Bailey Romoser was named to the honorable mention squad.
