Colts pick up 7th straight basketball win, 70-51 over Madison

BELLVILLE — The Colts are simply on a roll.

Clear Fork’s boys basketball team defeated Madison 70-51 here Friday night to up its record to 7-1 and record its seventh straight victory.

Pacing the Colts was Jared Schaefer with 21 points. Adding to the balanced attack were Brennan South with 13 points, A.J. Blubaugh had 11, Gannon Seifert with 10 and Jay Swainhart tallied nine.

The hosts lead 39-38 lead going into the fourth quarter, but used 10 turnovers to break open the game. Madison trailed just 50-47 with under five minutes to play until Clear Fork went on a 18-0 run in just over three minutes

The Rams fall to 2-6 with the loss.

Clear Fork travels to Ontario Thursday for a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference game.
