BELLVILLE — Clear Fork boys basketball reached another milestone here Thursday night.

A 58-46 win over Marion Harding assures the Colts of at least a share of the MOAC title. It’s the first conference title for the school since 2002.

The hosts were in control the entire game and took a 31-23 halftime lead.

Four Colts played their final game — Gannon Seifert, Jay Swainhart, Jared Schaefer and AJ Blubaugh — and were recognized for their contributions before the game.

Blubaugh had 12; Swainhart scored 11 and Seifert 9.

The game also was dedicated to Grant Reed, a classmate who passed away last weekend from cancer.

In 2002 Clear Fork and Loudonville tied for the crown in the old Mohican Area Conference.

The Colts visit Galion Saturday, Feb. 23 and can clinch the MOAC title outright with a victory.

Clear Fork moves to 17-4 overall and 11-2 in the league.
