Senior Jordyne Helinski tallied two goals to lead Clear Fork to a 3-1 victory over Bishop Hartley in girls soccer action on Monday. The Lady Colts faced off against Hartley at the Labor Day Showcase hosted by Warsaw River View.
Colts senior Taylor Cook gave the green and white a 1-0 lead in the first half, but Hartley tied the match before halftime thanks to a goal by Maggie Smith.
Helinski scored both of her goals in the second half. She also finished with an assist. Freshman Kaylin Helinski had an assist.
For Hartley, Marissa Galant had the assist on Smith’s goal.
Clear Fork’s freshman goalkeeper Kaylee Krausman recorded seven saves to help the Colts earn the win. Katie Page finished with five saves for Bishop Hartley.
Clear Fork (4-1, 1-0 Ohio Cardinal Conference) plays two road matches this week. The Colts travel to West Holmes on Thursday and head to Granville on Saturday. The match with the Knights will start at 6:45 p.m. The contest at Granville is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
