The Clear Fork Youth League Baseball/Softball will each hold its registrations in March.
“It’s just fun to watch the kids go from not being able to throw a ball, when they start T-ball to how they develop through the years into their teens.” said Vice President Chris Hollar.
The Clear Fork Youth League Baseball and Softball registrations will be held this coming week at the Jefferson and Worthington Township Fire Departments on March 20 from 5-8 p.m. The CFYL is open to all kids 14 and under. Parents can also signup online prior to the deadline March 27. League information and signup sheets can be found online at www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=cfyl.
“We have about 320 kids, boys and girls that come out to play.” said Hollar,”They come from the Clear Fork school district and even some homeschoolers come out. It’s a great mix.”
The fire departments will have all the necessary paperwork available. Birth certificates are not necessary at the time of sign up. Feel free to contact CFYL President Randy Pore at 419.512.8287 or Vice President Chris Hollar at 419.989.2842 with any questions or concerns.
Softball has player evaluations April 3 and baseball evaluations will be held April 10.
Opening day for softball is May 14 and the opening date for baseball is May 23.
