LEXINGTON — Clear Fork’s boys basketball team never got untracked offensively Friday night. The Colts fell behind early against Lexington and never challenged after the first quarter en route to a 73-36 Ohio Cardinal Conference loss.
Christian Beer led the Colts with 14 points. Brennan South and Chance Barrett scored five apiece, Gannon Seifert scored four, Jay Swainhart and Justice Rebman scored three each and Tanner Winand added two.
Lexington jumped out to a 16-9 lead after the first quarter and led 35-16 at the intermission. The lead was 53-27 after three periods.
Carl Stover led Lexington with 13 points. Ben Vorr scored 12 and Traeven Harrison scored 10. Thirteen players scored for the Minutemen, who improve to 12-2 overall and 6-2 in the OCC. Clear Fork is 5-7 and 2-6.
