Lady Colts earn No. 1 tournament seed. Baseball team a No. 2

BELLVILLE — Clear Fork’s girls softball team earned a No. 1 seed on Sunday in the Milan District tournament draw.

They’ll open play May 9 at 5 p.m. vs. No. 10 Lexington, at Clear Fork High School. If Clear Fork wins that game, they will take on Tiffin Columbian on May 12 in Bellville.

If the girls softball team continues winning, they’ll play May 18 at 5 p.m. at Milan Edison High School in a semifinal game. The Division II district tournament championship game is scheduled May 20 at noon, also at Edison High School.

Bellevue is the N0. 2 seed in the Colts’ bracket, Clyde is No. 3 and Upper Sandusky is seeded No. 4.

Clear Fork’s baseball team earned a No. 2 seed in the Shelby District bracket.

The Colts have a first-round bye.

In their first game, they’ll play the winner of a game between No. 8 Bucyrus and No. 10 Willard. That game will be on the Colts’ home field at 5 p.m. on May 12.

If the Colts keep winning, they’ll play again May 18 at 4 p.m. at Shelby.

A victory in that game puts them in the district championship game May 20 at 1 p.m., also at Shelby High School

Seneca East is the No. 1 seed in that Shelby Division II bracket. The Colts are No. 2, Galion is No. 3 and Edison is No. 4.
