Woodruff/Kochheiser Road —
On the listed date and time while patrolling, Officer passed subject vehicle with the driver appearing to try and avoid eye contact with the Officer. Subject made a quick turn into a business while displaying several criminal indicators. Officer contacted Dispatch with the license information from the vehicle and confirmed the order from the BMV to confiscate the license plates on their behalf. The driver was confirmed as the owner of the vehicle and was identified as suspended. Subject vehicle then exited the business, Officer activated overheads and made contact with the driver. Driver was advised the reason for the stop, driver stating that they were not aware of the suspension. Subject’s vehicle was parked with permission at a business, the plates were removed from the vehicle, the driver was cited for driving under suspension and they were able to contact a valid driver for a ride.
State Route 13 South — On the listed date and time, Officer observed vehicle travelling on State Route 13 with two tires that were extremely low and appeared unsafe. Officer got behind the vehicle and ran the license plate which was showing, “Officer may confiscate plates on behalf of the BMV”. Officer activated overheads and conducted a traffic stop, making contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Driver stated that they knew the tires were very low but had not gotten air yet. Officer advised the driver the BMV request to seize the plates due to a warrant block, driver stating that they thought it was taken care of. The driver was allowed to contact the BMV but, was unable to resolve the situation. Officer removed the plates from the vehicle, at tow was contacted and a vehicle tow inventory form was completed. The tow service arrived to remove the vehicle and both occupants were transported to a local business to await their ride.
Bellville — Subject arrived on station to make a report of credit card fraud. Officer spoke with subject, gathered information and report was made.
State Route 13 South On the listed date and time while on patrol, Officer observed vehicle pass by, with driver appearing to slouch down and display suspicious behavior. Officer confirmed through Dispatch the vehicle information and the driver as the owner of the vehicle, showing suspended. Officer proceeded after the vehicle, activated overheads and initiated a traffic stop. Officer approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver, advising them the reason for the stop, driver stating they knew their license was suspended. A citation was issued for Driving under Suspension, Officer allowing the driver to contact a valid operator to retrieve them and the vehicle. Once they arrived, the Officer verified them as a valid driver and all subjects cleared the scene.
Bellville — At the listed date and time, Officer dispatched to the listed location in reference of an alarm off. Officer made contact with a person on scene.
Bellville — Officer dispatched to the listed location in reference to an intoxicated person. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with several residents of the address, who stated the situation to the Officer. Contact was made with the subject, who was highly intoxicated. Due to the high level of intoxication and the subject being unable to calm and stop arguing, the Officer cited the subject for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and transported them to jail.
Bellville — Officer contacted by Dispatch to make contact with victim that was stating that a family member had used their credit card without permission. Officer made contact, gathered information and a report was taken.
I-71 southbound ramp — At the listed date and time while conducting business checks, Officer observed a vehicle that did not have a rear license plate. Under closer inspection, Officer observed a plate lying flat in the rear window of the vehicle. Dispatch confirmed the plate to that vehicle as Officer continued the business checks, the vehicle pulled out of the parking area and the plate on the front of the vehicle did not match the rear plate. As Officer pulled around the vehicle began travelling onto the ramp of I 71, where Officer activated overheads and initiated a traffic stop. Officer made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the driver stating that they had just purchased the vehicle and that they were suspended. Officer requested the required information from the occupants and verified through Dispatch both as being suspended. A citation was issued for driving under suspension and fictitious plates. A tow was contacted and vehicle tow inventory form completed.
Bellville — Officer dispatched to listed location in reference to an intoxicated person. Officer arrived and made contact with the caller, who stated that a resident of the household had been drinking, was causing problems and tearing up the house. Officer spoke with the caller, made contact with the subject, who was then detained and placed in the rear of the patrol cruiser. After speaking with the caller further, and determining the situation, the Officer did place the subject under arrest, they were cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and transported to jail.
Bellville — On the listed date and time, Officer spoke with neighboring law enforcement in reference to harassing phone calls, one subject residing within this jurisdiction. The Officer made contact with the victim and gathered information. Contact was also made with the suspect, who Officer advised. This case is closed.
State Route 97 West — On the listed date and time while on patrol, Officer conducted a vehicle check, confirming the owner as the driver and showing suspended. Officer activated overheads and initiated a traffic stop. Driver was advised of the suspension and issued a citation for driving under suspension. The passenger of the vehicle was confirmed as a valid driver and was able to transport both occupants. Officer cleared scene.
